1. Information Collection and Use

In its prototype phase, the portal simulates the collection of business contact and enumeration data (business name, LGA, contact person, phone number, and operating sector). This data is held in temporary client-side session memory to allow users to test the multi-step registration workflow and view the review and confirmation screens.

2. Document Uploads

The document attachment step in the registration wizard is a client-side interface demonstration. Uploaded files are evaluated in-browser only for file size and format, and are never saved to a remote server or persistent storage.

3. Future Phase Integration (Production Standards)

Upon transition to the production phase, all data handling will strictly adhere to the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and Bauchi State Government digital governance standards, employing end-to-end encryption and secure state server hosting.
